DOC Martin viewers were left concerned after the latest episode – dubbing it "dangerous".
During Wednesday night's episode of the hit ITV crime drama, viewers saw a patient who has Type 1 diabetes not take her insulin.
The woman became unconscious due to a hypoglycemia and required glucogen.
Fans of the show were quick to notice how inaccurate and "dangerous" this was.
They pointed out that lack of insulin would cause hyperglycaemia and the woman would have different symptoms to the ones she had in the scene.
Viewers were furious at the medical error on the show and took to Twitter to share their concerns.

Another chimed in: " And giving a glucogen injection without bothering to check blood sugar level."
While another added: " It's like they're trying to give her a Diabetic Ketoacidosis."
Elsewhere in the episode Martin and Louisa went to London so that Martin could present his research paper, leaving Janie Bone in charge of the two children.

Fans of Doc Martin were once again in hysterics after PC Joe Penhale's clumsiness provided plenty of entertainment in the episode.
Ever the hopeless romantic, in one scene PC Penhale brings over a surprise fish and chips for Janice, with a surprise bottle of wine.
Janice accuses him of "smashing it over the floor", to which Joe says: "I didn't smash it – it just slipped out of my hand and… then it smashed."
