Eamonn Holmes has shared an update with fans on Instagram amid his health issues.
The former This Morning presenter shared a snap in which he can be seen on a back stretcher wearing a headband. In the caption, he wrote that he looked like an “80s disco dancer.”
“I look like an 80's Disco dancer [dancing man emoji] …. but actually on a rack having my neck and back stretched. Spine decompression [thumbs up emoji]”
His concerned wife, Loose Women panelist Ruth Langsford, rushed to the comments and penned: “Ouch! I like the 80’s vibe though! X”
Kate Garraway also commented saying: “What was it like? Did it help?! Looking good though xxx”
Fans also shared their worries about the TV host.
One wrote: “Get well soon Eamonn. XXX [two red heart emojis]”
Another said: “Oof! That’s horrible. I’ve had it and hated it. Hopefully it’ll help things though [fingers crossed emoji]”
A third penned: “Bless you Eamonn keep strong and sending good health and positive vibes xx”
This update follows earlier this week when the 63 year old discussed not being able to do anything “except watch TV and eat” due to poor health.
He said: "I can't run, I can't walk, I can't do anything except watch TV and eat.
"I just got problems last year in my back, which I haven't recovered from. It's not good, it's not a good recipe I have to say. You are a good motivation for all of us. What would you say to people out there who just have not got that motivation?"
While on his show the day after the airing of the National Television Awards – on which his former programme got booed – he ranted about Holly Willoughby and Philip Schofield.
"The big story, The Sun's front page because obviously, this is the biggest story in Britain, is that Phillip Schofield has stopped following Holly Willoughby on TikTok.
"I mean, you know, this is the big story. And I mean, apparently, the This Morning people were devastated because God forbid there could be a better programme that actually won it. I don't watch either, but I hear The Repair Shop is terribly good."
He then mocked Holly’s poses: "Here's a pose, I thought if someone says to me, 'Can we have a picture, Eamonn' and you're on the red carpet. You're smiling or looking awkward or whatever it is…Holly Willoughby shows her bum.”
