EastEnders star Gurlaine Kaur Garch has quit the long-running soap after being snapped up by a top American agency.
The 29-year-old, who plays Ashneet ‘Ash’ Kaur Panesar, is reportedly bowing out of the show in the coming weeks after just over three years on the soap.
Gurlaine made her EastEnders debut in 2019 as part of the Panesar family and was an immediate hit with viewers.

But it appears that Gurlaine, who is still on set, is now ready to move on to other projects and has quit the show.
A source told The Sun: "Gurlaine’s loved her time on the show but she’s ready to try new things. She’s had an incredible three years on the soap and made some great friends.
“She’ll film her final scenes in the coming months and in typical EastEnders style it will be unmissable.”
It also appears that Gurlaine has plans to take on Hollywood after being snapped up by an American acting agency.
“She’s hoping to join the long list of former soap stars to crack America,” the source added.
An EastEnders spokeswoman confirmed the news to The Sun.
They said: “We can confirm that Gurlaine will be leaving EastEnders, and we wish her all of the best for the future.”
Gurlaine took an on-screen break from the show at the beginning of 2022 and returned in June.
The stunner recently took to her Instagram page to tease her acting future by posting a gorgeous casting headshot.
In the caption, she confirmed she has new representatives, writing: "Excited for what's to come" along with a US flag emoji.
Plenty of Gurlaine’s fans took to the comment section when the news of her quitting EastEnders was revealed.
“I wish you weren't leaving. I was so happy when you came back after your last break. Wishing you all the best in the future!!” proclaimed one fan.
A second fan gushed: “Oh no will miss her on EastEnders, good luck on your next journey. Absolutely stunning.”
“Only bigger and better things,”’ wrote someone else.
Another fan speculated about her cracking America, saying: "Can't wait for you to be on US (and Canadian) television."
