She told Callum: "Its only once you start talking about it you realise how common it is.

"I had it, the amount of times my mum threatened to throw me off the balcony I reckon that she had it.

"She wouldn't admit it either."

Callum responded by saying: " I thought it was the cancer, the chemo.

"I knew that Raine and Roland were involved somewhere but this?"

Karen said: "The leaflets were a cop out I should have told you sooner.

"I just didn't know how. I saw Mitch lose his brother I didn't want you to lose yours."

Callum then went on to describe his dream to Karen where he someone was calling him from behind a door but he couldn't get through.

Stuart has been having a hard time after his wife left him, he got a breast cancer diagnosis and post-natal depression after the arrival of his son.

Back in June, Stuart told Rainie that their relationship was over and she deserved to look after Roland on her own.

He packed his things and walked out of their home but soon caught an earful from Karen in the Vic for abandoning his son.

Karen asked Stuart if he had postnatal depression, which led him to snap at her.

He spent the night on a bench as Rainie and Karen tried to talk to him, but he didn't listen and told Rainie that he was planning on leaving.

In an attempt to convince him to stay, Rainie argued: “I know it’s hard to come back here once you’ve had your chemo, I get that it’s a lot but you’re not gonna be sick forever, it’s not always going to be like this.

“You know, [Roland’s] gonna be walking and talking, he’s gonna be calling you Daddy. Roland needs you, he needs us, you and me and we’ve worked so hard for that. I thought you wanted it too."

EastEnders airs Monday to Thursday from 7:30pm on BBC One.
