EastEnders viewers have blasted Stacey Fowler (Lacey Turner) and Kheerat Panesar (Jaz Deol)'s "unbelievable" as relationship as they “never” shows any signs of love.

Fans of the BBC One soap are currently following the pair’s storyline as they deal with the fallout from Kheerat’s mum Suki Panesar’s ( Balvinder Sopal) secret relationship with Eve Unwin (Heather Peace).

Stacey learned of the pair’s romance when Eve confided in her weeks ago during a shift at Stacey’s baps.

She kept the news a secret from her boyfriend, who later discovered his mum in bed with Eve and learned the truth about their relationship.

The pair have been in conflict with each other over the secrecy of late, but fans have been left wondering why the pair are framed as boyfriend and girlfriend when they don’t seem to show any affections for each other.

“All Kheerat and Stacey do is argue and I’m supposed to believe they have chemistry #eastenders,” said one viewer.

A second added: “Are kheerat and Stacey dating, or just bredrins? It’s like they’re BOTH in the friend zone. #EastEnders.

While a third penned: “why are they pushing them as a couple stacey and kheerat are never affectionate! I don’t get it!”

The topic was touched upon in the episode when Stacey encourages Lily to make up with Amy, and Lily gives her mum a reality check about her situation with Kheerat.

She tells her that he clearly isn’t happy with her after he brushed her off.

Stacey confronts Kheerat and the two make amends.

Back home, Kheerat makes a huge decision and tells Vinny and Ash why their dad was really in prison.

Elsewhere in the episode, Jack keeps Amy her on a short leash as she lets Nugget assume she slept with Denzel.

Jack is stunned when he receives the video of Sam kissing him from a mystery sender, who we later learned to be Denzel, and he then discovers he’s been suspended from work.

Jack goes round to the Fox’s to apologise to Denzel but Denise receives the video of Sam kissing Jack and they quickly realise Denzel is responsible.

As Denise’s family rally round her, Jack assures her he pushed Sam away and Denzel backs up his story.

Chelsea offers her sofa to Jack after Denise says she needs space and when Sam spots the exchange, she stirs trouble and tells Denise.
