EastEnders fans are convinced they’ve rumbled the secret about where Nugget has been hiding, after the teenager fled his home in the middle of the night just over two weeks ago.

The troubled youngster had his entire world upended, when Suki Panesar accidentally revealed that his father Ravi Gulati had blood on his hands and was responsible for having killed his grandfather, Ranveer Gulati.

Horrified by the truth, Nugget couldn’t bear the thought of facing his dad and soon ran away from home in the dead of night in the hope of escaping his father’s murderous past.

Following Nugget’s departure, fans have seen several of his friends and members of his family slowly unravel onscreen as they grew increasingly worried about his whereabouts, especially after the police had no luck in tracking him down.

Yet while Nugget continues to remain missing, many fans believe they may have already discovered where he has been hiding, thanks to a 'clue' hiding in plain sight that revealed his mother and sister would seen be joining the EastEnders cast.

Last month, it was revealed that Nugget’s mum Priya would be joining the cast, with a brand new daughter named Avani, Nugget’s sister.

With the duo due to make their arrival next week, several fans are convinced that their arrival could have more to do with Nugget’s disappearance than meets the eye, with several speculating that he could even have fled to seek refuge with his mother.

Taking to social media to share their theories, one fan wrote: "Didn't even connect that it would be Nugget's Mum. So that must have been where Nugget was headed when we saw him last?”

A second fan also agreed, as they added: "We know that Nugget has run away, but I wonder if he ran away to his mum Priya, and that is how she comes into the show alongside Ravi's daughter Avani.”

Before a third weighed in and commented: “I wonder if Nugget is staying with his mum Priya hence her coming to Walford? Ravi said that Nugget hasn't known his mum since birth but there is a chance that Nugget may have tracked her down on social media hence him knowing where she lives now.”

With Nugget knowing the truth about Ravi’s crime, what could this mean if he has been living with Priya, and will he have told his mum about his father’s villainous ways?
