EastEnders' Harvey loses everything as 'Sophia' cons him in vile plot?

Harvey Monroe (Ross Boatman) could be set to lose everything in EastEnders at the hands of an online scammer who is masquerading as someone looking for love on a dating app.

The cab driver, as viewers know, has signed up to a dating app, after Rocky (Brian Conley) and Mitch Baker (Roger Griffiths) encouraged him to do so.

It didn’t take long before he was matched with someone named Sophia, who he’s since become very fond of – and has been messaging her repeatedly online.

Rocky, however, grows concerned about his friend later this week, after Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) suggests that Harvey is being ‘catfished’.

Harvey, however, is quick to dispel that theory, claiming that Sophia is the real deal, but Rocky is not convinced.

Determined to protect his pal, the former con man enlists some help from Bobby Beale (Clay Milner Russell), who he tasks with investigating the mysterious Sophia.

Bobby does just that and discovers that Harvey has been sending Sophia money!

Freddie Slater (Bobby Brazier), meanwhile, gets involved in all the drama, as he gets his hands on Harvey’s phone and takes as many screenshots as possible.

With Bobby by his side, Freddie goes to Rocky and Mitch, telling them their plan, but he is soon stopped in his tracks by a discovery.

Rocky is similarly taken aback, and he ponders if he should tell Harvey the truth, but when Dotty Cotton (Milly Zero) finds out, they’re left with little choice but to reveal all to Harvey – who is in the process of sending Sophia more money!

The question is: is Harvey being scammed by Sophia? If so, how will he react when he finds out the truth?
