EastEnders star Charlie Brooks is leaving the BBC One soap as Janine Butcher again.
The 41-year-old actress returned to the serial drama in August last year after a seven-year hiatus from Albert Square.
Over the past 16 months, she's been at the centre of some gripping storylines, including her relationship with Mick Carter (Danny Dyer).

Her final scenes will reportedly play out during the dramatic Boxing Day episode following Janine's epic showdown with Mick and Linda Carter (Kellie Bright).
Away from Walford, Charlie has previously been crowned the winner of I'm a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! and appeared in drama Lie With Me.
Following the news of her departure, a PR expert has opened up on what Charlie could go on and do next.
Embryo Brand PR manager Jo Threlfall told Daily Star: "Charlie will do great at doing more drama series like Lie with Me.
"She revealed on Loose Women that she's working with the National Theatre on the production of The Ocean at the End of the Lane.
"The first show was on the December 12 at the Lowry in Manchester.
"It opens up conversations about the universe and how we see the world through a child vs adult eyes.
"She also has an online drama platform called I am Pro which helps support people wanting to get into the industry.
"She launched it before the lockdown to create equal opportunities for people getting into showbiz.
Charlie confirmed her exit from EastEnders in September this year.
She told The Sun on Sunday: "I was only ever due back to EastEnders for a year, but when [exec producer] Chris Clenshaw presented me with his idea for the story, I couldn’t say no to staying a little longer.
"I’ve had an amazing time, as I always do when I go back.
"But as always with Janine, she probably should not outstay her welcome — for everyone’s sake."
Charlie took over the role as Janine from actress Alexia Demetriou when the character was re-introduced in 1999.
She played the role until 2004 and then again from 2008 to 2014 and then again from 2021 until 2022.
EastEnders airs Monday to Thursday on BBC One at 7.30pm
