EastEnders is marking Halloween with a dead body discovery – and it means bad news for Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal).
But, usually at the heart of Halloween, Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) is in no mood to celebrate without Mick (Danny Dyer). Of course, Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) has other ideas.
Meanwhile, there’s a more sombre mood as frightened Lola Pearce (Danielle Harold) prepares for surgery – and an emotional Jay Mitchell (Jamie Borthwick), says goodbye…
Monday October 31
Suki ignores Eve and as she berates Ravi for his fight with Kheerat, he reveals Nina has reported Ranveer missing. Thinking that Nish has won all the kids over, Suki is shocked when Kheerat tells her the family knows the true reason he was in prison. As their conversation gets heated, Suki reveals the truth.
Eve is surprised to find Suki at her door, whilst Kheerat watches from afar, and Stacey awkwardly walks in on them. Later, Suki meets with Nish and they connect over the loss of Jags.
Meanwhile, Nina and Ravi worry that Suki may confess and ruin their plans to steal Ranveer’s money. They are interrupted by the police arriving with some unsettling news that a body they believe to be Ranveer’s has been found.
The doctor explains the brain tumour operation to a hopeful Lola – as Jay remains affected by it all. Later, a dressed-up Ben and Callum.
Lexi and Lola plan for next year’s Halloween.
Linda mopes to Alfie that she doesn’t want to celebrate Halloween this year due to memories with Mick, and is frustrated when he goes and organises an event in The Vic.
Mitch, Dotty and Freddie encourage Harvey to join a dating app, and Jean is jealous to learn this while Linda panics about Alfie taking Ollie trick-or-treating without her knowing.
Tuesday November 1
Ravi reveals to Nish and Suki that the police have found Ranveer’s body and it’s being classed as a murder. Suki bumps into Eve and Kheerat and as desperation kicks in, Suki discloses that Ranveer has been found dead. Elsewhere, Nina frets to Ravi about becoming a suspect in Ranveer’s murder.
Suki later receives a message from the police wanting to speak to her about Ranveer’s murder, Ravi receives a similar call which is overheard by Kheerat and Nish.
At the Vic tensions run high as Nina tells Ravi she won’t take the fall for this.
Jean is upset about Harvey’s developing love life, as Linda thanks Alfie for making her Halloween memorable. Later, Kat is angry to find out Alfie has bunked-off school with the boys, and refuses to let him have them over the weekend – Linda has a plan to help Alfie.
Jay is drowning under the pressure of Lola’s condition and after an altercation with Ravi, Ben realises he needs help. At the hospital, Lola is concerned with the after effects of her surgery.
Ben, Mitch, and Harvey step in to help Jay at the funeral parlour so he can be with Lola. Jay tries to remain strong for Lola when he visits, but she sees through him and they share a loving moment before she’s taken to surgery.
Wednesday November 2
Suki gets ready to head to the station, and as Kheerat, Nish, and Ravi discuss her approach to questioning, she remains distracted.
Ravi spots Nina at the surgery, questioning her motives. At the station Suki manages to hold herself together under questioning.
Eve wonders if Suki is really the murderer. Nish catches a glance between Suki and Eve when she returns home.
Jay refuses to go home as he and Billy wait for Lola surgery to end.
Alfie makes positive strives forward with Kat, but later disappoints her when he gets stuck on the roof of The Vic and can’t pick up Tommy.
Furious with Alfie for another mishap, Kat refuses to let him have the boys – Linda feels it’s all her fault. Later, Jean tries to deny her feelings for Harvey as Linda anticipates Mick’s return.
Thursday November 3
As Ravi heads for the station and is interrogated about his past, and relationships with the Panesars – particularly Suki.
Linda explains to Kat it was her fault Alfie was on the roof.
Jean overhears Mitch, Rocky and Harvey discussing Sophia, his dating app match. Mick and Janine come back from holiday and Mick is disappointed to find Alfie has been helping out at The Vic.
Later, Linda and Mick connect as he discusses his time away, they almost share a moment.
