NEWCOMER Avery Baker caused a stir upon his arrival in Albert Square, especially with his brother Mitch.
Determined to see the brothers get along, Karen Taylor hatches a plan next week in EastEnders.
Producer Chris Clenshaw gave BBC One viewers plenty of drama, most notably by bringing Mitch Baker's brother Avery to Walford, alongside his two sons.
But as soap fans may remember, Avery (portrayed by singer Omar Lye-Fook) didn't have the best reunion with his younger sibling Mitch (Roger Griffiths).
This was only made worse when it was revealed Avery was fighting cancer.
Aware the brothers are struggling to make amends, as Mitch is more than reluctant to do so, Karen Taylor (Lorraine Stanley) takes matters into her own hands next week.

But the bonding doesn't last long as Mitch soon holds resentment towards Avery and, fuming, asks him to leave altogether.
Karen, on the other hand is hellbent on getting them to talk to one another and puts the pressure on Mitch to give Avery a chance.

As mentioned above, Avery made his EastEnders debut in recent episode of the long-running drama.
He first got on the wrong side of market traders in the Square but nipped any conflict right in the bud by inviting them to The Vic with him.
This is where he bumped into his estranged brother Mitch for the first time in years.
Mitch was less than impressed to see him and things were made worse when Avery managed to impress the rest of his family.
