FIZ Stape tied the knot with Phill Whittaker despite Tyrone Dobbs admitting he still loved her.

Next week in Coronation Street, the machinist is coming to terms with her decision – will she regret it?



After some hesitation, mostly due to a heavy secret coming to light, Fiz Stape (portrayed by soap legend Jennie McAlpine) decided to walk down the aisle with Phill Whittaker (Jamie Kenna).

However, days before she could, she admitted to her former flame Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) that she still loved him but could never trust him again after his infidelity with Alina Pop.

Tyrone responded by showing up at her door and revealing his own feelings for her, while Fiz was adamant on getting hitched with Phill.

Coming up in the cobbles, the trio navigate their way around their relationships after the wedding.

Later on, a worried Phill seeks Tyrone's advice about how to make sure Fiz knows how he truly feels about her – does Tyrone really give him the right advice?

This remains to be seen as Fiz is shocked to see Phill outside the Underworld factory with a boombox blaring, holding up cards containing the words of her favourite love songs.

But while his heart is in the right place, the cards definitely aren't.

To the amusement of the factory girls alongside Fiz, Phill's cards are all muddled up.

But the mechanic wasn't the only ex to stir up trouble for Fiz and Phill.

Mere days before their wedding, Phill's former wife Camilla (played by former Emmerdale star Louise Marwood) showed up in the cobbles.

Fiz felt obligated to invite her along to her hen do – but the night turned to a disastrous event after Camilla revealed that she and Phill were still in love.

The newcomer then explained Phill had sent her loving emails, despite him trying to assure Fiz he was certain about marrying her.

Phill's mother Mimi, who was already walking on thin ice due to her clash with Evelyn Plummer, was then blamed for the emails.
