EastEnders viewers can expect a thrilling week in the Square next week, as Sam and Phil decide to take revenge on Ben’s rapist, Lewis.

Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) meets with Keeble to see if she can do anything about Lewis. However, it’s Sam Mitchell (Kim Medcalf) who takes action when she takes the gun from the club safe and heads off with Zack Hudson (James Farrar) to find Lewis Butler (Aidan O’Callaghan) herself.

Later, she reveals to Phil that she has Lewis tied up in the boot of the car. She and Phil drive off to a deserted warehouse to compete her mission.

Meanwhile, Ben Mitchell (Max Bowden) is discharged from hospital. He asks Callum Highway (Tony Clay) to meet him so they can talk, but things don’t go well.

Plus Lola Pearce (Danielle Harold) won’t let Ben see Lexi Pearce (Isabella Brown) until he gets professional help. Still reeling, Ben is then shocked when Zack exposes Sam’s plan to him.

It’s an emotional day as Avery’s funeral gets underway. Mitch Baker (Roger Griffiths) is upset when Tara Misu arrives rather than Felix Baker (Matthew Morrison) but he apologies when he realises Felix is doing it for Avery. Tara makes a touching speech before the family say goodbye, heading outside to release a dove.

Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) is annoyed that Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) hasn’t opened up the Minute Mart. He tells her they must keep acting as normal as possible. Later, they tell the family they have bought the restaurant.

Later, to cheer everyone up after Avery’s urn arrives, Karen reminds everyone that its Bernie Taylor’s (Clair Norris) birthday tomorrow. She enlists Felix and Finlay to help plan a party.

Stuart Highway (Ricky Champ) gets the all-clear at the hospital. When he comes home, Callum and Violet Highway (Gwen Taylor) are worried to see him packing up his stuff. Karen Taylor (Lorraine Stanley) knows where Stuart’s pain is coming from, and later on Stuart opens – telling her he’s signed over all his parental rights to Rainie and she never wants to see him again. Can Karen make him see he is unwell and encourage him to get help?

Mick Carter (Danny Dyer) returns to Walford. Soon, Janine Butcher (Charlie Brooks) feels pushed out again as Mick and Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) sing together at the karaoke night.

Mr Lister (Nick Wilton) scores a date with Honey Mitchell (Emma Barton) after he overhears Ash and Honey talk about her being single. But Billy confides in Sonia Jackson (Natalie Cassidy) that he wants to get back with Honey. She encourages him to go for it, explaining that Honey isn’t interested in Lister. However, Finlay Baker (Ashley Byam) gets there first.

Honey informs Finlay that Mr Lister has not agreed to his food stall, so the brothers come up with a way to change Mr Lister’s mind.

Shirley demands her cut of money from Sam otherwise she’ll tell Phil everything.
