Ekin-Su's HUGE Dancing On Ice salary revealed as she becomes highest-ever paid Love Island contestant | The Sun

EKIN-SU Cülcüloğlu has become the highest-paid Love Island star in Dancing On Ice history.

The Sun can exclusively reveal that Ekin-Su, 28, netted an incredible six-figure payday to sign onto the skating show.

This towers above any fee paid to previous contestants from the ITV2 series who have taken part in the Sunday night competition.

A TV insider says: "Bosses were desperate to sign Ekin-Su, so they paid her £100,000 to sign on the dotted line.

"As a comparison, Love Island stars would normally command something in the region of £30-50k for the show, so this is a huge deal for Ekin-Su.

" Producers felt she was well worth every penny though – she is one of the most popular winners in Love Island history, winning with a landslide of votes, she's got a great personality and she's stunning to boot so they're confident her cheque will be reflected in the ratings."

Previous Love Island contestants who have taken to the ice include Kem Cetinay, Wes Nelson, Maura Higgins and Liberty Poole.

Our source continued: "Other than Kem, the other villa stars who signed up were not winners so they couldn't command as high a fee, and while Kem was a big signing, he didn't come close to landing Ekin's huge salary.

"It's testament to how popular and in demand Ekin is that she has managed to do so well for herself."

Dancing on Ice has been announcing contestants for its 2023 series over the last week.

So far, Michelle Heaton, Carly Stenson, Darren Harriott, Joey Essex, The Vivienne, Mollie Gallagher, Nile Wilson, John Fashanu and Patsy Palmer have been announced alongside Ekin-Su.

Ekin's impressive pay day comes after the star netted the biggest fashion deal in Love Island history after signing with boutique brand Oh Polly.

She signed a deal worth over £1million with the chic fashion label after turning down similarly lucrative offers from fast fashion brands.

A source told The Sun: “After speaking with all of the major fashion brands Ekin-Su wanted to work with a brand that aligned to her own values of sustainability.

“She is the most in demand Love Island star EVER.”

Ekin-Su has also recently landed a spin-off ITV2 series with boyfriend Davide Sanclimenti.

Two-part series Ekin-Su & Davide: Homecomings will follow the Love Island winners as they take on two trips of a lifetime.

Davide will return to Italy and his hometown of Frosinone for the first time since leaving the Love Island villa with Ekin-Su by his side.

But before they reach his hometown, Davide will give Ekin-Su a taste of Italy as the pair embark on a whistle-stop tour of the city of love, Verona.

The loved-up pair will then travel through to the Tuscan valley to then jet off to Turkey, where they will visit Istanbul.

They will also venture on an eight-hour road trip in a campervan to visit Ekin-Su's family in the village of Odemis.

As they spend a night sleeping in their motorhome, viewers can expect the drama of living in confined spaces to unfold.

Viewers will also be introduced to the pair's family and friends along their journey.
