Emmerdale fans are convinced Debbie Dingle will return to the soap in the near future.
The wayward teenager first arrived in the village back in 2002 as Paddy (Dominic Brunt) and Emily Kirk's (.Kate McGregor) temporary foster child.
She moved to Scotland in 2019 when actress Charley Webb went on maternity leave to have her third child, Ace.

She returned at Christmas 2020 and was revealed to be sleeping with Al Chapman (Michael Wildman), who was engaged to Priya Sharma (Fiona Wade).
She later left the village and went back to Scotland, however, her name does often crop up in conversations between characters.
While ITV say there's "no plans for Debbie Dingle to return", Daily Star has taken a look at some of the fan theories circulating online.
Recast rumours
Some fans think Debbie will return to the village with a different actress playing the role.
Sarah Sugden (Katie Hill) is currently visiting mum Debbie in Scotland after she recently collapsed.
After the young girl's health took a turn for the worst, fans think that Debbie will definitely come back.
Taking to Twitter, one fan penned: "I think they'll bring Debbie back as a recast. The actor who currently plays her says she isn't returning to the show.
Another added: "Surely Debbie and Andy would return for Sarah, recast the roles if need be #Emmerdale @emmerdale."
Sarah's 'funeral'
Debbie's daughter Sarah has had a series of ill health since she was a child and almost died a few years ago.
In 2011, Sarah was diagnosed with a rare genetic disease called Fanconi anaemia aged six and she needed a bone marrow transplant to save her life.
In 2017, Sarah was revealed to have throat cancer. After a crowdfunding campaign and help from Debbie's grandmother Faith Dingle (Sally Dexter), Sarah received treatment in Prague.
A year later she suddenly collapsed and was confirmed to be suffering from heart failure.
Following the heartbreaking storyline regarding Sarah, some fans have taken to social media to predict her death will lead to Debbie's return.
Taking to Twitter, one fan wrote: "Don't die Sarah or Debbie will have to return for your funeral."
Another added: "Are Debbie and Andy coming back for Sarah’s funeral?"
Mackenzie affair scandal
There has previously been speculation that Debbie was Mackenzie Boyd's (Lawrence Robb) mystery woman.
He had a one-night stand with a mystery woman last year and it was later revealed that Chloe Harris (Jessie Elland) was the lady in question.
While Mackenzie's partner and Debbie's mum Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) remains unaware of her partner's adultery, fans think that if Debbie ever returned she could have a fling with Mack.
As another cheered: "What are the odds Mack gets with Debbie when she gets back?! #emmerdale."
When Mack was originally leaving, someone else penned: "Mack don’t go to Scotland, might end up with Debbie Dingle!"
