Emmerdale was full of drama on Friday night as Alex Moore (played by Liam Boyle) started to show his true colours after he threatened his ex Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley) at the end of the ITV episode. Alex warned Dawn to leave him alone and to stop talking to his girlfriend Naomi Walters (Karene Peters) about his past. However, luckily for him, Naomi didn’t believe a word Dawn said.
In the pub, Naomi and Dawn clashed over Alex, leading Dawn to storm off.
“You better not be here to badmouth Alex again,” Naomi fumed.
Dawn hit back: “I am meeting my dad actually, not that it’s any of your business. Half a lager and less of the attitude.”
“Can’t you find somewhere else to drink?” Noami asked as she taunted Dawn.
Dawn raged: “What because of your massively high standards. You have no idea what he is like.”
“You keep going on about what he is like, you have conveniently forgotten that you were right there with him, taking the same drugs, living the same life…just as bad.”
Dawn explained to Naomi she was trying to help her, although, the chef wasn’t havaing any of it.
Meanwhile, Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) ended up threatening the mother of his child, Chloe Harris (Jessie Elland).
After pleading with Chloe to go back to Scotland, the youngster told Mack she would expose their fling if he didn’t leave her alone.
Following the episode, fans took to social media to share their thoughts, with many pleading for the soap to get rid of several characters because they’re fed up with their storylines.
Some want Mack and Chloe to leave the village, while others branded Noami as “unlikeable”.
Twitter user @birty4306 fumed: “Naomi really unlikeable. Been here 5 minutes and thinks she owns the place. Shan’t be sorry when she gets her comeuppance #emmerdale.” (sic)
