Emmerdale exit for beloved character as fans ‘work out’ Chloe Harris betrayal

Emmerdale: Amy gives Chloe advice

Emmerdale fans seem to think they have worked out how Chloe Harris (played by Jessie Elland) will betray Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) even further after lying about her pregnancy.

During Tuesday night’s episode, the young mum believed she was pregnant after not feeling well, but she soon came on her period which confirmed she was not expecting a baby.

Her sister tried to convince her to come clean to Mack, but Chloe came up with the wild idea to try and get pregnant to save any heartbreak.

But, will she go through with it?

Meanwhile, Ryan Stocks (played by James Moore) decided to make a temporary exit from the village after he tried to come to terms with having a son.

Ryan and Gail Loman (Rachel Gill-Davis) went to the hospital where their poorly son Oscar lay in his sick bed.

However, when his adoptive mother Sophie (Martha Cope) asked if they wanted to see him, Ryan refused and decided to leave.

Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock) later told Gail that Ryan had left the village, but will he end up coming back?

Following the episode, fans took to X, formerly known as Twitter in droves, to share their thoughts on what will happen next.

Many seem to think Chloe will keep her fake pregnancy a secret, but if Mack finds out he will be heartbroken.

@ifeelflames shared: “You just know Chloe won’t be pregnant, but she won’t want to admit she’s not to Mac incase he retracts the proposal #emmerdale.” (sic)

@Samanth22356123 echoed: “Let me guess, Chloe finds out she’s not pregnant so she tries to get pregnant just to keep Mack!!”

@Emmerdale2dae added: “Chloe not being pregnant… I bet she lies to Mack just to keep him/engagement #Emmerdale won’t end well…”

“#emmerdale Chloe…when I work out what I’m going to tell him! Well, you could just say I’m not pregnant after all. Is she going to drag it out for days?” @AngeBlue55 tweeted.

@mikepriestley13 went on to theorise: “Chloe would be a horrible girlfriend to have… so she’s going to get pregnant to trap Mack so he doesn’t leave her. I have a feeling this is leading up nicely to the car crash in Super Soap Week. #Emmerdale.”

@DylanDylan1909 suggested: “Mackenzie will find Chloe’s not pregnant in the aftermath of her death I think? #Emmerdale.”

Emmerdale airs weekdays at 7.30pm on ITV.
