Emmerdale fans all have the same complaint after police announcement | The Sun

EMMERDALE fans point out major blunder after Paddy Kirk's disappearing act.

The village vet – played by Dominic Brunt – made the heartbreaking decision to leave the village.

He fled after having a one night stand with former flame Mandy Dingle (Lisa Riley).

Paddy has been suffering with his mental health ever since he found out his wife Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) had been cheating on him with Al Chapman (Michael Wildman).

PC Swirling revealed there had been a sighting of Paddy and the family watched the CCTV.

But viewers were left baffled to why the family themselves aren't out and about looking for him.

He will endure constant reminders of Chas' infidelity and their shared grief over the death of their daughter Grace.

Paddy actor Dominic Brunt said portraying the storyline was a "huge honour and great responsibility."

He said: "It’s an inherent problem in today’s society that most men don’t talk enough about their problems.

"We bottle them up, we don’t want to bother anyone, we become embarrassed, we feel we should be strong and not show weakness.

"If this story can shine a light on the issue or make even a small change to someone’s outlook or viewpoint, then it will have been worth it.

"It’s also a privilege to be working alongside The Samaritans and Andy’s Man Club in highlighting this issue."

The heartbreaking storyline will air in March.

Viewers will see Paddy return to the village to say his goodbyes to his friends and family, before leaving again as he considers taking his own life.
