Emmerdale fans are all saying same thing as Sam Dingle’s arrested

Emmerdale: Sam gets arrested for the murder of Craig

During Friday’s instalment of Emmerdale, the police came knocking for Sam Dingle (played by James Hooton) while Lydia Dingle (Karen Blick) wasn’t home.

They questioned Sam on rapist Craig Reed’s (Ben Addis) death after he was found lying lifeless in a field by Home Farm in recent days.

Sam had made a pact with his family not to admit to attacking Craig, but he panicked while the police officers quizzed him.

The soap favourite told the officers he beat Craig up in anger, but promised he did not kill the vile rapist.

He explained Craig walked away bruised after the beating and was not sure how he ended up dead.

However, he was soon arrested on suspicion of murder to his family member Cain Dingle’s (Jeff Hordley) horror.

Emmerdale fans will know Kim Tate’s (Claire King) white horse was responsible for Craig’s death after the animal kicked him while she was riding.

Cain, who was at the scene as Craig lay dead on the grass, told Kim not to tell anybody about his death.

Will Cain come forward to the police and explain what the horse did to Craig, or will he let Sam take the fall?

Emmerdale viewers headed to X, formerly known as Twitter, after the cliffhanger ending and they were all saying the same thing.

Jehan added: “I really hope the horse killed Craig and someone else didn’t finish Craig off or Sam could be right in the s**t unless Cain tells the cops what happened or takes the blame.”

Another quipped to their followers: “Free Sammy. Arrest the Horse.”

A fifth viewer wrote: “Is the horse ever going to be arrested #Emmerdale?”

Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV and ITVX.
