Emmerdale fans work out twist proving who nanny Nicky is working for | The Sun

EMMERDALE fans have worked out a twist proving who nanny Nicky is working for.

Nicky's identity and motive for being in the village has had viewers talking ever since he arrived in Emmerdale in December last year.

Last week, he proposed to Gabby as their whirlwind romance continued at pace.

However, the proposal has left his boss Kim Tate concerned, fearing something more sinister is at play.

Kim fears Nicky is trying to get his hands on her fortune via Gabby, who has son Thomas with Kim's son Jamie.

Jamie was last seen in the village in 2021 before his car crashed into a lake.

While Emmerdale residents believe Jamie is dead, viewers know he is actually alive and well.

Gabby reassured Kim that Nicky has already agreed to sign a pre-nuptial agreement, but it hasn't stopped viewers from speculating that Nicky is working for Jamie.

One wrote: "Think Kim’s son Jamie is in contact with Gabby's man and he's going to kidnap the child."

Another added: "Jamie is sooo blatantly in contact with Nicky".

A third tweeted: "#Caleb #Nicky They think they have the perfect plan to nab Kim's financial holdings. If they're involved with Jamie that knucklehead will blow it up. Especially if he won't wait for Nicky to adopt Thomas."

Meanwhile a fellow viewer wrote: "It’s quite clear this is a setup by Jamie Tate. He wants his child and mothers money."

Emmerdale airs on ITV1 and is available on ITVX.
