Bradley Johnson was given ample opportunity to show off those incredible vocal chords of his during tonight’s episode of Emmerdale, as — after some insistence from Harriet Finch (Katherine Dow Blyton) — Vinny joined the village’s choir practice.
With Harriet desperate to get out the house and away from Will (Dean Andrews), she headed to the church to conduct a choir practice session.
The singing session was attended by several villagers, including Laurel (Charlotte Bellamy), Nicola (Nicola Wheeler) and Wendy (Susan Cookson), but Harriet — in need of a male vocalist — also persuaded Vinny to join in on the musical performance.
In spite of some initial hesitation, Vinny put his all into said performance, as the group sang Chesney Hawkes’ ’90s classic ‘The One and Only’, but — in spite of the performance being an ensemble — the young lad shone, proving that he really is, well, the one and only.
Nicola, Harriet, Laurel and Wendy were in shock at the young man’s talent — as were all of us at home!
Bradley has demonstrated his incredible pipes on videos on social media — not to mention during Emmerdale’s Woolpack sessions — but it was truly spectacular to see him having the chance to showcase his talent on the ITV soap, as he made the ’90s classic his own.
Release the full version, Emmerdale!
Emmerdale continues Friday 15 May at 7pm on ITV.
