Emmerdale spoilers: Aaron returns, Mack's lover revealed, Liv left to die

Emmerdale plays host to some familiar faces next week as Danny Miller is back as Aaron Dingle, a man who is stunned to find sister Liv Flaherty (Isobel Steele) in a dangerous situation.

As Sandra’s (Joanne Mitchell) nasty plot comes to fruition, Liv’s life is on the line in a struggle – can Aaron save her and also restore their fractured relationship?

Another person back in their old stomping ground is Tracy Shankley (Amy Walsh); but it seems like she is hiding something from Nate Robinson (Jurell Carter).

And Chas and Al’s (Lucy Pargeter and Michael Wildman) luck looks set to run out – but Kerry Wyatt (Laura Norton) has one heck of a surprise for them…

Monday October 3

Liv is grateful for Paddy’s support when he persuades her to take a day off work. Meanwhile, Terry lurks and Liv returns home to find Terry waiting for her and demands she retract her statement to the police.

As Liv fights against Terry, he ends up knocking her unconscious and panics, looking to bolt, he runs straight into a familiar face. Aaron attacks Terry but Harriet arrives on the scene before he can inflict any further damage.

Liv remains unresponsive and the Paramedics are called while Aaron is arrested. Chas is surprised to see Aaron who is contesting his own arrest.

Vinny’s frantic when he arrives at the Hospital to a still unconscious Liv and is surprised to hear Aaron was there to protect her. Chas rages at Harriet when she refuses her demands to release Aaron.

When Aaron is finally released, he and Chas head to see Liv, concerned about her condition. Aaron arrives at the Hospital to see Liv in hospital but is sternly denied by Vinny who insists Liv wants nothing to do with him. Aaron’s crestfallen, now wondering if his return to make amends was a mistake.

After a few beers, Mack’s upset when a drunken Nate makes an ill-timed joke about his affair.

The pair are put on the spot when Ryan senses something is awry and orders them to spill the beans.

Eventually, Ryan squeezes out the truth of the fling from Mack. Mack’s trapped when deadly serious Ryan insists that he needs to tell Charity. 

Tuesday October 4

Mack worries how he’ll be able to tell Charity the truth and  threatens to fight back any accusations and Ryan’s beaten. Mack’s left relieved to be safe, at least for the moment. 

Serious about their relationship, Al proposes to Chas that they run away together.

Will’s shocked to learn Dan and Harriet are dating. 

Wednesday October 5

Ryan struggles with keeping Mack’s secret and Mack’s shaken even more when he gets a call from his one-night stand. He sets off to deal with the situation.

On the village outskirts, Mackenzie’s on edge as he awaits his secret meeting. Mack’s one night stand is revealed…

Al gets his accounts in order as he prepares to buy a house for him and Chas; delighted with the way his plans are progressing.

Unbeknownst to him, however, Kerry catches him viewing houses online and assumes he’s looking for them and can barely contain her excitement. 

Will’s overjoyed when Dawn tells him she’ll come to his wedding but who will she bring as her guest? 

Nate assures Naomi he’ll be there for her plea hearing 

Thursday October 6

Al’s uncomfortable when Kerry tries to squeeze out information about the house she saw him viewing. Loved-up, she has a glint in her eye as she decides to plan a surprise of her own.

Meanwhile, Al tells Chas he’s going to end things with Kerry and actioning his words, he arrives at the pub ready to end things but is blindsided when she proposes to him by doing a rap.

As everyone cringes, Chas reels at the spectacle. Al’s shell shocked and falters but ultimately says yes to getting engaged. Outside the pub, Chas is reeling when Al insists he’s still committed to her. Unable to resist sharing a moment of passion with Al, but the pair are horror struck when someone catches them.  

Nate is soon distracted by someone and doesn’t keep his promise to attend the hearing. Nate’s stunned when he catches a glimpse of Tracy and Frankie from the Woolpack Beer Garden.

Faith overhears a big secret and is unsure what to do with the information. 

Harriet tells Wendy she’s still in love with Will but Wendy tries to convince Harriet she’s on the right track with Dan

Friday October 7

A run-in with Ethan causes Nicola to take the nuclear option and make a complaint about Charles to the Bishop.

It’s the night of the Stag and Hen dos and Lydia has laid on a treat whilst Will does something he may come to regret.

Harriet’s left in turmoil after Will drunkenly declares his everlasting love for her.

There’s a sense that Nate’s feelings for Tracy have been reawakened.
