Cain Dingle will be faced with a difficult decision in upcoming scenes as he continues to wrestle with his son's mother Amy Wyatt in Emmerdale.
Next week, Matty feels delighted when Amy informs him that heir engagement is about her love for him and is not just a ploy to get custody of Kyle.
Seeing how happy he is, Amy takes strength from Matty’s support.

Elsewhere, Cain enlists Caleb in the battle over Kyle’s future but Moira begs with him to avoid making matters worse.
But war between both parties soon erupts as Caleb intervenes, upsetting Amy and as things become turbulent Matty later reassures Amy after her encounter with Caleb.
Meanwhile, after a violent altercation between kids Carl and Kyle, Nicola threatens to call the police on Kyle which leaves Amy fuming.
Following the incident, Cain is quick to blame Amy for what happened but the pair decide to come together and soon both Amy and Cain plead with Nicola not to call the police on their son.
However it’s Amy’s appeal which causes Nicola relent which leaves Cain guilty to know the community sees Kyle’s violence as a reflection of his overall parenting.
After taking everything into consideration, Cain tells Moira that they need to let Kyle go for his own good, leaving her stunned.
Moira is petrified when Cain views himself as a malign influence on Kyle and doesn’t just want to give Amy full custody of his son, but also plans to cut himself completely out of Kyle’s life.
Not only this, but Cain wants Amy to move away with Kyle and give his son the chance to start again.
A heartbroken Moira tries to tell Cain that he’s making a mistake that will haunt him to his dying day.
But will Amy seize the opportunity to have Kyle to herself?
