Emmerdale's Kim Tate set for explosive prison twist after making fatal mistake | The Sun

KIM Tate could be set for an explosive prison twist after confessing all about her involvement in Craig Reed's death.

The owner of Home Farm played a pivotal role in the rapist's demise when she chose not to call for help when her horse, Ice, killed him during a brewing confrontation between the pair.

Upon realising that Craig would need medical help to survive the force of mighty Ice, Cain Dingle saw the commotion and begged Kim to walk away to leave him to die.

The pair agreed to not breath a word of the truth as they left him to die as an act of revenge for his horrific attack of Lydia.

However, as tension between Kim and Lydia mounted, the truth began to unravel.

Lydia explained how she had been left feeling confused following his passing and had been unable to cope with her emotions.

She still appeared to be questioning the validity of what happened to Craig which forced Kim to tell all.

Attempting to comfort her with a version of the truth, Kim told Lydia that Craig died instantly as she was there when it happened as well as telling her that no one else was involved.

Despite hoping it would bring clarity, the truth rattled Lydia who exploded at Kim and insist she "get out".

Lydia snapped: "What gives you the right to play God?"

As Kim aimed to explain, Lydia got more and more wound up.

Now fans think that Kim could be heading behind bars as they fear that Lydia will tell all to the police amid her worked-up state.

Taking to X – formerly Twitter – one Emmerdale viewer said: "Christ, what is wrong with Lydia, I bet she’ll grass on Kim now…"

A second added: "Lydia turning on Kim is the last straw. Had sympathy with her…. until now!!!! If she stitches Kim up I’ll be livid!!!"

Someone else was left equally as stunned that Kim had confessed all by saying:  "Kim, why tell her any of that? Not usually the character to walk into confessions."

It remains to be seen what will happen to Kim but could the leading lady of the Dales be headed for an exit sooner than we think?

Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
