Fearne Cotton addresses whether shes Odd Socks on ITVs The Masked Dancer

Fearne Cotton addressed whether she is Odd Socks on ITV's The Masked Dancer as Lorraine Kelly grilled her on Thursday's Lorraine show.

During an interview, where Fearne, 41, spoke about her new Happy Place app, Lorraine, 62, asked: "Now look, there's a huge and important question I have to ask you.

"Everybody wants to know… are you Odd Socks on The Masked Dancer? People think you are. May you or may you not confirm or do you wish to not comment, it's fine if you want to say no comment!"

To which an amused Fearne responded: "This is the most hilarious thing ever, there's some sort of drama going on I have no idea about!"

Watching a clip of Odd Socks performing, Fearne pointed out: "Is it something to do with the dial being set at cotton? Is that the subliminal messaging we believe is going on here? I don't know!"

To which Lorraine asked: "But you can't say?" with Fearne adding: "I don't know if I can or can't because I've no clue what's going on. Quite frankly, I've got no idea!"

It comes as Tomato Sauce was finally revealed on Saturday's show as the contestant admitted that their outfit choice was the "perfect disguise".

During the latest instalment, the panel – Jonathan Ross, Oti Mabuse, Davina McCall and Peter Crouch – chose to unmask Tomato Sauce, who turned out to be none other than chat show host Steph McGovern.

Talking about taking part, Steph, 40, said: "I love the show and I love dancing. Getting to dance as a completely different person/character is thrilling!"

Speaking about being Tomato Sauce, the star added: "I loved it. From the moment I saw the costume/mask I loved it. I don’t think anyone pictures me as being cute or saucy, so it was the perfect disguise."

It comes as The Masked Dancer's Pillar and Post were revealed on Saturday after an injury forced the dancing duo to withdraw from the show.

Host Joel Dommett explained: "Sadly, Pillar took a tumble during rehearsals and I am absolutely gutted to tell you that on medical advice they have had to withdraw from the competition."

After the panel – Jonathan, Oti, Davina and Peter – shared their final guesses as to who they thought was behind the masks, Pillar and Post were revealed to be married couple goalkeeping legend David Seaman and ice skating star Frankie Poultney.
