Firefly Lane left a lasting impression when it made its debut in early 2021 and was quickly renewed for another series as a result. The first part of season two is now ready to watch on Netflix, once again following the lives of Tully Hart (played by Katherine Heigl) and Kate Mularkey (Sarah Chalke). Express.co.uk has all there is to know about the cast of Firefly Lane season two.
Who stars in Firefly Lane season 2?
Tully Hart – Katherine Heigl and Alissa Skovby
Confident and ambitious Tully Hart is one of Firefly Lane’s two leading ladies, who didn’t have the easiest of childhoods.
While she is now a successful broadcaster, there are other issues, including romances and deceit in the workplace to contend with.
Young Tully is played by actress Alissa Skovbye who is best remembered for playing Grace and Paige in ABC’s Once Upon a Time.
Tully as an adult though is portrayed by Katherine Heigl who was famously Izzie Stevens in Grey’s Anatomy for five years.
Since then, she has been in The Ugly Truth, Knocked Up, 27 Dresses and Unforgettable.
Kate Mularkey – Sarah Chalke and Roan Curtis
Kate is Tully’s best friend who she meets when they were teenagers and is a lot shyer in comparison.
She grew up in a stable household but in the present day, Kate is going through a divorce.
Young Kate is played by The Magicians star Roan Curtis who has also been in The Secrets of a Gold Digger, In God I Trust and Before I Fall.
Actress Sarah Chalke, on the other hand, is best known for playing Elliot Reid in the comedy Scrubs, Becky Conner in ABC’s Roseanne and Stella Zinman in How I Met Your Mother.
Danny Diaz – Ignacio Serricchio
There will be a few newcomers welcomed to the second cast of Firefly Lane, including Danny Diaz, a handsome, confident reporter who has a soft spot for Tully.
Actor Ignacio Serricchio played Diego Alcazar in General Hospital, and Alex Chavez in The Young and the Restless, as well as starred in Netflix’s reboot of Lost in Space.
Benedict Binswanger – Gregory Germann
Benedict Binswanger is the heir of a successful logging family who tries to get into the world of politics.
Actor Gregory Germann was Richard Fish in the series Ally McBeal and continues to play Tom Koracick in Grey’s Anatomy.

Charlotte – India de Beaufort
Run Fatboy Run and Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist star India de Beaufort is behind Charlotte in season two.
She is an aspiring journalist who becomes a force to be reckoned with and has a major crush on Johnny (Ben Lawson).
Justine Jordan – Jolene Purdy
Justine Jordan is described as a “cutthroat talent agent” who Tully will rely on for help when things get out of hand.
Actress Jolene Purdy has been in Do Not Disburt, the comedy series 10 Things I Hate About You and Cherita Chen in the 2001 film Donnie Darko.
The other stars of Firefly Lane season one will also be returning for the new episodes.
Actor Ben Lawson will be back as Johnny Ryan and Queen of the South actor Jon-Michael Ecker will reprise his role as Max Brody.
They will once again be joined by Beau Garrett as Cloud and Yael Yurman as Marah.
Firefly Lane seasons 1 and 2 are available to watch on Netflix.
