As autumn gets underway, the EastEnders cast and crew are in the festive spirit, as pictures have confirmed they are now filming episodes that will air over the Christmas period.
While the new images show Walford covered in sparkling lights, they also confirm Ian (Adam Woodyatt) and Cindy’s (Michelle Collins) brand new business – Beale’s Eels.
A bird’s eye view of the road confirms the pie and mash house will open next door to Coker and Sons, the funeral parlour.

Cindy and Ian were tasked with getting their hands on a lot of cash this week in the BBC One soap. After failed attempts with the Panesars and Phil (Steve McFadden), Cindy and Ian joined George (Colin Salmon) and Elaine (Harriet Thorpe) for a dinner after Cindy learnt that George wanted to sell the bar in Marbella.
Cindy argued that she had every right to her half of the sale and went to dramatic lengths to be successful in her plan.
Pulling her aside, George questioned Cindy’s motives for making such a big song and dance, only to be shocked when Cindy revealed that she suspected he was holding onto her money because he couldn’t bring himself to let go of Rose.
Intent on proving her wrong, George agreed to let her have her half of the money, and satisfied Cindy and Ian left.
Elsewhere, we know the festive season will finally bring answers to the Christmas Day murder, which was confirmed in a flashforward sequence back in February.
The Six, also known as Sharon (Letitia Dean), Denise (Diane Parish), Suki (Balvinder Sopal), Stacey (Lacey Turner), Kathy (Gillian Taylforth) and Linda (Kellie Bright), will all feature when the dead body is discovered.
Right now, we do not know who will be killed, but fans are continuing to love sharing theories online.
