I've got such a stereotypical pet name & it makes my life hell – I'm fed up of cringe chat up lines, it's so tiring | The Sun

CHOOSING a baby name is one of the most difficult decisions for any parent to make.

After all, the child is going to be responding to it for the rest of their lives.

But unfortunately for one woman named Angel, she's not a fan of her own moniker – and even goes so far as to say it's "a menace of a name."

In a post shared to Reddit, she penned: "As a girl with this name it’s hell out here. The constant jokes, so many awful flirting attempts.

Just today a customer asked me if my name really was Angel and then proceeded to ask if I could be 'his angel.'"

She went on to say how the relentless comments are boring and added: "I tend to be a very friendly person too so people looove telling me I “really am angel” and it just gets tiring."
