Furious Celebrity MasterChef viewers complain over 'car crash' challenge | The Sun

FURIOUS Celebrity MasterChef viewers were up in arms last night as the amateur cooks tackled a new challenge.

Teamwork was the dish of the day as the celebs were paired up. Amy Walsh and Luca Bish made up one duo while Michael Pread and Apl De Ap were team two.

Grinning host Gregg Wallace declared: "We now want to test your teamwork and your communication skills."

John Torode then said: "Today we are celebrating brunch! Would you please reveal your ingredients? Each team today will be tasked with cooking a dish.

"Two portions of a dish, and those two portions we would like to look and taste exactly the same. However, only one member of each team has the recipe."

Viewers claimed one side had a much tougher task before them than the other.

Celebrity MasterChef fans stunned by ‘unrecognisable’ contestant

Amy and Luca had to make a potato rosti with a poached egg, asparagus, bacon and hollandaise sauce.

While Michael and Apl had to rustle up Japanese souffle pancakes, a poached pear, homemade syrup and granola.

Needless to say, Amy and Luca breezed through their dish while their rivals had a harder time of it, and Michael ultimately paid the price by leaving the competition.

One viewer fumed: "A soufflé vs a rösti… seems fair #CelebrityMasterchef."
