Geordie Shore star Gaz Beadle’s wife Emma in hospital for heart surgery as he says it's a ‘very hard and stressful’ time | The Sun

GAZ Beadle’s wife Emma is in hospital for heart surgery and the reality star admitted it has been a "very hard" time.

The ex Geordie Shore favourite revealed that it will take Emma, who he shares two young children with, months to recover from the major operation.

Emma has been waiting for an operation to fix three holes in her heart for months.

The worried husband shared his first post on Instagram late last night and said: "Very hard very stressful very emotional day.

"Crazy what life throws at you sometimes. Big day for our family tomorrow."

And Gaz, 34, followed up his first today with a tribute to the 30-year-old and praised her devotion to their daughter Primrose and son Chester.

He said Emma entered hospital last night and waited hours to get onto a ward, but her only thought was for their kids.

He added: "You know what shout out to all the mums, honestly Emma was literally waiting to go in at 7am this morning, after we dropped her last night, and her only worry was the kids were ok and that they had found their treasure hunt surprises which she has planned everyday for them….

"Mums are built different, nothing else matters, as long as their kids are happy.."

He vowed to keep their home ticking over until Emma was back on her feet.

Gaz said: "I will hold the fort and update you all soon as I hear from the doctors that all has gone well.

"Going to be a hard two to three month recovery but we got this as a family… thanks again for allthe messages."

Gaz was tasked with the first school run on Thursday and snapped a selfie with his kids strapped into the back seats of his car.

"So proud of these two," he wrote over his photo.

"Primrose doesn't quite understand but Chester has been so brave. Hectic morning but all in hand."

Gaz quit Geordie Shore for good in 2020.

He first landed a part on the show after a season working in Malia in 2009.

He previously revealed he was: "On the dole, living with my grandad, couldn't get a job tiling.

"I was 21-years-old, my life looked a bit gloom. I had no intention of getting a job, I was quite lazy. One night I went out, had probably about £6 in my pocket – I was blagging drinks of my friends, I was skint.

"And that night there were MTV scouts out out in a bar."

Revealing that they didn't get paid a penny for the first season of Geordie Shore, Gaz confessed he needed to borrow £100 from his mum halfway through filming to buy some clothes.

These days Gaz's life couldn't be more different and he went on to make a cool £4.6m fortune after the show.

He runs a property business and married Emma last year.

Reflecting on his life now, Gaz said a year ago: "I love being a dad. I love having a family, waking up in the morning and having the kids there. I've had, and I've been very lucky, that perfect transition.

"I do feel sorry for some people that went the other way, but it's easy done. Fair play to anyone who's been on reality TV and done well because it's not easy. I feel proud of myself to be where I am. I've got a few business and I just crack on."
