SUNITA Alahan was murdered in 2013 leaving her former husband Dev to raise their twins, Aadi and Asha.
Next week in Coronation Street, Bernie Winter is convinced her ghost is haunting the businessman ten years after her passing.
Aadi and Asha Alahan have had to grow up without a mother since Sunita was murdered by her former lover Karl Munro.
In scenes airing next week on ITV, Sunita's loved ones including her former husband Dev (played by Jimmi Harkishin) gather round to celebrate her memory.
Bernie Winter (Jane Hazlegrove) and her son Paul Foreman (Peter Ash) join the Alahans for the memorial dinner.
Dev asks Asha if she got her bracelet back and Aadi stares at Asha who confirms that she did.

Meanwhile when Asha notices a bubble of light hovering over her in a photo they just took, Bernie, known for her spiritual practices, suggests it’s a human spirit.
Unfortunately for her, Dev is quick to close down her superstitions.
Aadi later notices that the picture of him and Asha has moved and now faces the picture of his Mum.
Bernie puts it down to the presence of Sunita’s spirit whilst Dev categorically refuses to entertain the idea.

As Bernie tells Paul about Sunita’s restless spirit and how it caused the photo to move, Dev despairs and demands she tell him what she stands to gain with all her supernatural nonsense.
How will Bernie react?
Viewers of the Manchester-based drama will remember Sunita as one of Corrie's most beloved characters.
A former shop assistant, Sunita first became involved with Dev when she fled from Mumbai to avoid an arranged marriage and he offered her shelter in Weatherfield.
After calling off her wedding with Ciaran McCarthy, she was diagnosed with a brain tumour and Dev stepped up to help her.
The pair inevitably fell in love, tying the knot in 2004 and Sunita's health was eventually in the clear.
She gave birth to twins Aadi and Asha in 2006 but her perfect family life with Dev was ruined when she discovered he'd had numerous other children he had kept secret from her.
The pair divorced and Sunita received custody of both twins.
But in 2010, Dev and Sunita were reunited after she broke an engagement to Matt Davis and the family moved into No.7 but she refused to marry him again.
Things came crashing down again two years later, when Sunita left the shop to work at the Rovers and began an affair with Karl Munro.

The illicit romance turned into a full-blown relationship and lost its appeal, prompting both parties to return to their respective partners.
In 2013, Sunita witnessed Karl setting the Rovers ablaze to frame Jason Grimshaw for dodgy electrics.
She was left to die in the burning building by Karl but survived and was rushed to hospital.
