Good Morning Britain's Andi Peters made a rather surprising confession during the latest episode of the hit ITV show as he confessed that he's not allowed to showcase his "nipples" through his shirt on TV.

The competition host appeared on the show alongside presenters Ranvir Singh and Ben Shephard as he celebrated his 52nd birthday live on air.

But when presented with a cake that had a figurine of himself on it, Ben was quick to highlight that his cake showed off his bulging arms.

However, although Andi was quick to admit that his shirt that he wore in the studio did highlight his biceps too, he wasn't allowed to show his nipples through the shirt while on the morning programme.

Laughing profusely, Andi told viewers that the camera is only allowed to show him from a certain range to avoid his nipples being captured on screen.

But this wasn't the only surprising admission from Andi as fans were also left gobsmacked by his real age.

Earlier in the show Ben said: "Andi Peters, did you just slip in that it was your birthday?"

Andi replied: "I may have mentioned it was my birthday today, but only very briefly".

Presenter Ben then asked how old Andi to which he replied: "31", before revealing he is actually 52 today.

Shocked, fans quickly rushed to Twitter to share their thoughts.

One person said: "Andi Peters is never 52! Happy birthday x",

Another social media user echoed: "Andi Peters looks younger now than he did twenty odd years ago".

A third chimed: "Andi Peters turning 52 makes me feel like a dinosaur."

"Andi just doesn't age," a fourth surprised viewer added.

Although Andi has become well known for hosting the compeition segment on ITV, the star first became recognised for hosting children television shows.
