Great British Bake Off fans left disgusted after baker gets blood in pastry – but avoids double elimination | The Sun

GREAT British Bake Off viewers were left disgusted when one of the bakers got blood in their pastry.

In an amazing twist Dan still managed to snag the top spot in Pastry Week despite his nasty injury.

The resource planner, who has been a strong contender for winning this year's series, managed to avoid elimination after quickly working to replace his batch of blood spattered pastries.

His grim accident happened during the technical challenge, which saw all the bakers faced with making a fancy puff pastry dish.

In the race against the clock to finish baking the best pastry possible Dan ended up grating his own knuckles and getting blood on the dough.

GBBO fans were left horrified by the grisly scene and took to social media to share their thoughts.
