MELINDA Messenger has said sorry to Michelle Heaton after punching her in the face.

The model, 52, was forced to take on the singer, 44, during a brutal challenge when they took part in Celebrity SAS.

Michelle shared a snap of the dramatic moment, showing the punch landing her in the face.

Melinda was quick to apologise, commenting on her images: “Sorry Michelle. I still can't believe we had to that to each other. Thank goodness it was over quickly.”

Describing the pictures from her experience, Michelle wrote: “THIS IS NOT A DRILL. I can’t find the words for you all.

“But, when you watch it… You can almost taste the swamp from us being sick.. feel the pain from our bodies from the injuries and tears and the fear of what was to come in our eyes.. 😫

Michelle and Melinda joined a series of famous faces including  Love Island's Teddy Soares, Towie's Amber Turner and former Health Secretary Matt Hancock to film in Vietnam last year.

The process is famously incredible difficult and see the celebs swap their glam lives for the very tough training and basic living standards.

Very few celebs have ever passed the rigorous training.

Melinda meanwhile managed to get more than most out of the experience – her fiancé.

She revealed she met the show’s medic – Dr Raj Joshi – during the process and he later proposed during a holiday to New Zealand.

Celebrity SAS starts tonight at 9.30pm on Channel 4.
