Dave was sharing a new dish he had been working on as he was filmed in his kitchen with two bowls of food in front of him.

The BBC favourite was donning his usual attire as he simply wore a khaki waistcoat over a black T-shirt and a pair of denim jeans.

He had a huge smile on his face as he looked and spoke to the camera – and his fans were thrilled with the latest update.

Their followers immediately rallied around Dave as they all said the same thing with one person writing: "Great to see you back, and looking so well!"

While another said: "Hope you're doing well Dave, nice to see you back."

A third said: "You're looking much better, Dave. Hope you're feeling it too," while a fourth added: "Nice to see you back Dave."

The clip came days after Si and Dave declared they'd be back on the road with the pair writing: "We are excited to be back at The Yorkshire Dales Food and Drink Festival this summer!

"We've been to the festival many times over the years, and we are delighted to be back this year, not only is it a great vibe but it's a proper day out for all the family.

"Come and see us do a bit of cooking on the 22nd July 2023."

Dave returned to TV in December after taking months off air following his cancer battle.

He appeared on BBC's Saturday Kitchen and declared his joy to be appearing on the show as he said at the time: "It’s lovely to be back. It has been a rough year, I can’t pretend otherwise, and there were some times when I didn’t think I would be here for Christmas."

Dave had celebrated his return to TV by punching the air seven months after he announced he was battling cancer.

Fans have continued to rally around Dave and share their support – and they're certainly happy to see him back and active online.
