Hamza Yassin has been the bookmakers’ favourite to win Strictly Come Dancing 2022 for some time however, another celebrity may take the crown. Digital marketing agency Mediaworks has analysed social media sentiment for the final four contestants and surprisingly Hamza does not come out on top.

Helen Skelton is back on top after a previous dip on the sentiment graph.

She could be on track for victory when she performs her final three dances for the public.

From December 3 to December 15, Helen tops the graph while Fleur East and Molly Rainford sit close behind her.

The Countryfile cameraman’s popularity appears to take a fall and he trails behind his co-stars.

Helen has the lowest average score out of the remaining contestants but the final decision is in the hands of the public alone.

Will she upset the bookies’ prediction and beat Hamza to the Glitterball Trophy?

Ladbrokes have placed Hamza at the head of the betting at 4/9 but Helen is closing the gap at 7/4.

The odds suggest Molly will finish in third place at 25/1 and Fleur is the rank outsider at 50/1.

Although Mediaworks’ Twitter analysis suggests Helen could win on Saturday, Instagram tells a different story.

Hamza’s Instagram following has increased by 992 percent from 11,768 followers in the first show to 128,579 in the final week.

Molly started the competition with 98,312 Instagram followers and heads into the final with 129,289 followers, an increase of 31.5 percent.

Fleur entered the competition with the biggest Instagram following out of the four finalists, so it is no surprise she had the smallest increase in the group with 3.4 percent.

All four contestants will want to impress the public with their final three dances, a judges’ pick, favourite dance and a Show Dance.

Fleur and Vito Coppola will perform a Samba that received 39 points the first time around and their Couples’ Choice which received full marks.

The judges wanted Helen and Gorka to perform there 37-marked Jive again while they chose their Couples’ Choice routine.

The couple will be hoping to receive a perfect score after missing out on just one point from Craig Revel Horwood last time.

Molly and Carlos will dance a Quickstep, which received a score of 34 and a 37-marked Rumba before wowing with their Showdance.

Hamza and Jowita will look to impress with their Salsa and Couples’ Choice which received 39 and 38 points respectively.
