Hamza Yassin’s dance partner Jowita Przystal has shared her worry ahead of their dance this week, following the final stages of their rehearsals before Saturday’s big show. The dancing duo has so far exceeded many people’s expectations on Strictly Come Dancing, with their odds of winning the competition slashed, but that could change this week if Jowita’s fears become a reality.
During a segment on Strictly spin-off show It Takes Two, Hamza and Jowita flexed some energetic moves as part of their Salsa rehearsals.
However, after Jowita led a fiery example of how the dance ought to look, she turned to the camera to cautiously update viewers.
She remarked: “Salsa will suit Hamza really well, he loves to move his body.
“But footwork is very fast, I think we are going to struggle a bit,” the professional declared.

Despite the caution, Hamza was in a positive mood and was buoyant ahead of their fourth week on the BBC dance competition.
He commented: “Salsa, it’s fun, it’s spicy, it’s hot, lots of shimmy and shakes, I like it.”
The wildlife enthusiast also praised their efforts and the end of their gruelling rehearsals, adding: “Good week’s training – high five.”
Hamza and Jowita will dance the Salsa to the dance hit Ecuador by Sash! as part of the first Couple’s Choice of the series.
Hamza danced the Rumba to the orchestral Jurassic Park theme song, but he did not come away feeling positive.
Their score of 25 from the judges left them in a precarious 10th position out of the 14 fellow couples.
The loveable character opened up to It Take Two’s host Rylan about his emotions after the show.
When asked if there was a time he thought he was leaving he nodded: “Yes, definitely.”
Hamza continued: “As everyone else gets called and they’re safe and they’re safe, and it was me and Richie [Anderson].
“I leaned over to Jowita, and I was like, ‘Thank you for everything’. You’ll see it.”
“It sounds like a farewell speech, I was panicking and I know they say it’s in no particular order, but in your brain…there is something there.”
Jowita defended his efforts, declaring: “I think for the male celebrity, Rumba is a really hard dance, especially to do it in week three.
“It’s crazy hard, but he took on board all of my tips. He improved his feet, which we were working on all week.
“I’m so proud of him because we took on board the comments from the judges on that second week.”
Richie Anderson and 2021 winner Giovanni Pernice sensationally got eliminated last week after a shock dance-off with Fleur East and Vito Coppola.
Will Mellor remains the favourite to bring home the Glitterball trophy this year.
