Heres when Lupin part 3 will be released on Netflix

Lupin: Part 3 official trailer

WARNING: This article contains spoilers from Lupin

Lupin part three is on the horizon but when is the release time for the mystery French drama?

The French series, which is inspired by the classic tale of gentleman thief Arsene Lupin, is a modern retelling of the story.

But rather than focus on Lupin himself, the drama follows Assane Diop (played by Omar Sy), who is avenging his father for an injustice caused by a wealthy family years prior.

Of course, going after the powerful people with plenty of connections, who did his dad wrong, was never going to be an easy feat.

At the end of the second season, he is able to take to the concert stage and revealed the extent of Pellegrini’s (Hervé Pierre) crimes before fleeing the scene via a speedboat.

In order to keep his son Raoul (Etan Simon) and ex-girlfriend Claire (Ludivine Sagnier) safe, he says his goodbyes to them and escapes but reassures them he will “always be watching” from afar.

What time is Lupin part 3 out?

Lupin is a Netflix original series which means while it is a French show, it will technically be released first where the streamer is based in California.

But as the world is split into time zones, Lupin will be dropped at the same moment wherever you are and it is just the time itself which differs.

So fans can expect Lupin part three to come out just after midnight PST (Pacific Standard Time) on October 5.

Those living on the East Coast can then watch the show from 3am EST (Eastern Standard Time) onwards.

For Netflix subscribers who reside in the UK, the next lot of Lupin episodes will be out at 8am GMT (Greenwich Mean Time).

And as the rest of Europe runs around one hour behind the UK, these fans can watch the drama from about 9am the same day.

What’s more exciting is this will be the longest series yet with the first two consisting of five instalments and part three made up of seven.

Going by creator George Kay’s description of the upcoming series, Assane is going to have quite a mission to get his life back on track.

Speaking to RadioTimes.com, he said: “Assane has gone from a life of anonymity as a criminal in parts one and two and now he is France’s most wanted man.

“His cover is broken because of what happened towards the end of part two… and now everybody is asking the same question, ‘Where is he?’, which is a problem when you’re a thief.

“When you try and steal things, everyone knows what you look like.

“So he comes back into Paris at the start of part three and discovers that the whole city is looking for him.”

Lupin part 3 premieres on Thursday, October 5, on Netflix.
