Strictly Come Dancing is the most fab-u-lous reality show around, jam-packed with sequins, sashays and scores from the eagle-eyed judges watching the celebrities’ every move. This year’s line-up danced for the first time with their professional partners, hoping to make a good impression early on. Express.co.uk has the full run-down of who’s at the top of the leaderboard in week one and who failed to get the crowd going.

Who is at the top of the Strictly Come Dancing leaderboard? 

Kym Marsh and Graziano Di Prima – 23

Former Coronation Street actress and presenter Kym Marsh and Graziano Di Prima were bouncing across the dancefloor to Yes by Merry Clayton.

They were the first to take to the dancefloor and while head judge Shirley Ballas was impressed and saw there was “room to grow”, Craig Revel Horwood labelled it “sluggish”. 

Tyler West and Dianne Bushwell – 21

It was a romantic affair with presenter Tyler West and Dianne Buswell with their American Smooth.

Anton Du Beke said their performance was “so gorgeous” but said there was some problems “below the waterline”. Craig Revel Horwood also described it as “pedestrian”.
