KERRY Katona has revealed that her ex-husband George Kay threatened to inject her baby with heroin.

The 42-year-old was married to ex George for three years and in 2019 it was revealed that  George had passed away from a suspected drug overdose.

He was found collapsed at home and taken to hospital but doctors were unable to save him.

The pair share a daughter named Dylan-Jorge, eight, together.

Kerry has now shared that she was “terrified” about what George could do to her and daughter DJ.

She recalls in her book Whole Again: “We were on FaceTime and DJ wouldn’t speak to him, she was only three at the time, and you know what kids are like. He was threatening us both and then he said to me, ‘How’s your mum, Kerry? Is she alright?’ before winking and ending the call.

“It really scared me. Before that, he had threatened to rape my mum and slash her up in front of me. So I didn’t know what he was going to do next. I was terrified he was going to hurt her or DJ.

“[After George died], one of his friends came round and told me I’d done the right thing in keeping him away from DJ.”

Kerry continued: “Apparently, he’d planned on injecting her with heroin and then killing himself.”

In the same book, Kerry opens up on other harrowing experiences she had with her ex George.

Kerry said that there was one time where George accused her of flirting with Blue star Antony Costa and then beat her.

Recounting what happened, Kerry writes: “’You s***!’ he screamed as he grabbed a fistful of my hair, which was cropped close to my head at the time. I could feel my skull burning.

“’You disgusting s***,’ he raged at me. ‘You think you can make a fool out of me, do ya? Do ya?!’ I was sobbing at this point, still not entirely sure why me sitting with my mate had warranted this sort of reaction.”

Kerry continued to say that she’d begged George to stop but he “skull dragged” her across the hotel room.

She said: “He locked me in the bathroom as punishment. I slept in a bathtub that night, cold, alone, petrified. The next day I had to go and film a scene for the show.”

Kerry was filming The Big Reunion with her Atomic Kitten bandmates the following day.

Opening up on the day, she continued: “The set up was me and the other Kittens around a piano practicing our song Whole Again. At this point the effects of the night before, the fear, the pain, the fact I ended up sleeping in a bloody bathroom, all started to get to me and I began to cry.”

Kerry is mum to Lilly-Sue, 19, and 21-year-old Molly, who she had during her marriage to Westlife star Brian McFadden.

She shares daughter Heidi, 15, and 14-year-old Maxwell with her ex Mark Croft.

Kerry then had her youngest daughter DJ during her relationship with George.
