Hollyoaks Normas real identity exposed, explosion horror and exit heartbreak

Hollyoaks fans can expect plenty of drama next week as a devastating explosion rips through the village.

The highly-anticipated carnival is in full swing in upcoming scenes with Diane Hutchinson (Alex Fletcher) as the ringmaster, but the McQueen family aren’t in the partying spirit as they need to find missing Mercedes McQueen (Jennifer Metcalfe).

They decide to go to the police but a cryptic message from evil Silas Blissett (Jeff Rowle) warns them against it.

Later, Silas appears live from the McQueen’s household via webcam as they realise he’s been listening to them this whole time.

The family are warned that playing games is the only way to keep them alive.

Theresa (Jorgie Porter) and Goldie McQueen (Chelsee Healey) find themselves trapped in an escape room whilst John Paul McQueen (James Sutton) is forced to face his demons.

Goldie and Theresa find themselves trapped in an escape room and the rules are clear – only one of them can get out of there alive, but will they agree on who should live?

Silas later challenges the McQueens to a game of chess, and the electrified board proves to be fatal.

At the end of the week, one member of the McQueen family wakes up in a prison cell as they must explain themselves following a death at the folly.

Elsewhere, Joel Dexter (Rory Douglas-Speed_ finds a leaflet to his own funeral service in his pockets, a threat from Norma Crow (Glynis Barber).

He tells Warren Fox (Jamie Lomas) that he can’t take it anymore, but his dad sets out to deal with it, no one messes with his kids and gets away with it.

Warren sets out to kill Norma after realising that she set him up to kill his own son.

However, a huge revelation changes everything for Warren.

Later, someone decides to leave the village and there's an unexpected proposal.

Hollyoaks now streams first on All 4, with new episodes dropping each weekday morning. The show airs Mondays to Fridays at 6.30pm on Channel 4 with first look episodes at 7pm on E4
