Hollyoaks spoiler pictures reveal major court twist and huge murder confession

With shocking trial outcomes and big confessions on the cards, Hollyoaks is full of surprises next week, and we’ve got you a first look at all the drama to come, with a nifty picture gallery.

It’s the day of Bobby Costello’s (Jayden Fox) sentencing, but Mercedes McQueen (Jennifer Metcalfe) is nowhere to be seen.

Bobby, as viewers know, is up in court for his role in the deaths of Sylver McQueen (David Tag), Silas Blissett (Jeff Rawle) and the attempted murder of DeMarcus Westwood (Tomi Ade), who he locked in a storeroom at Price Slice before setting the shop alight.

Felix (Richard Blackwood), who was instrumental in Bobby getting caught, does his best to track down Mercedes – and he does just that, with the former landlady turning up at court just in time to speak to her son.

Goldie (Chelsee Healey) is present too, evidently wanting justice to be served for her beloved brother Sylver, who lost his life one year ago when Bobby left him to perish in the fire at the cafe.

The question is: just what fate lies ahead for Bobby? Is he going to prison? Or will he be set free?

Only time will tell, but Mercedes takes shocking action in subsequent scenes, making a huge confession to Tony and Diane Hutchinson (Nick Pickard and Alex Fletcher), who are rendered speechless as a result.

Just what could it be?

Elsewhere in the village, Imran Maalik (Ijaz Rana) continues to bond with Justine at the clinic, and he offers some support to Juliet Nightingale (Niamh Blackshaw), who is struggling with her cancer diagnosis.

Hollyoaks airs these scenes w/c Monday January 23 on Channel 4, or see them first from Friday January 20 on E4 and All4.
