Huge 90s star makes surprise return to music – revealing new single and album | The Sun

MÖTLEY CRÜE guitarist Mick Mars has made a surprise return to music.

The 90s star has revealed he's releasing a new single and album after being "ousted" from the band amid a nasty fallout.

Loyal To The Lie will be out in February next year – as the lead single for his new album The Other Side Of Mars.

Mick Mars filed a lawsuit against Motley Crue in Los Angeles in April.

In the claim, Mick Mars says he "carried these b******s for years."

The musician insists he was unfairly forced out of the band because he would no longer tour.

Mick Mars said he was retiring from touring – instead only participating in gigs on home turf.

He also accused his bandmate Nikki Sixx, in particular, spent years "gaslighting" him over his guitar performance.

He said earlier this year: "Things get twisted around sometimes from other band members. I don’t really know if I should say this, but… Those guys have been hammering on me since ’87, trying to replace me.

"They haven’t been able to do that, because I’m the guitar player.
