Adam Barlow’s (Sam Robertson) getting desperate in upcoming Coronation Street episodes as he realises his business is struggling financially, but will he make deal with the devil just to keep things afloat?
Said devil in this tale is Damon (Ciaran Griffiths), brother of Harvey Gaskell (Will Mellor).
Damon made his arrival a few weeks ago after Nick (Ben Price) took money from Harvey that actually belonged to his brother.
As a result, Damon became a partner in the bistro and secretly began dealing drugs through the deliveries.
Moments before Jacob’s (Jack James Ryan) exit – which only happened because of Damon – he told Nick the truth about his new business partner, however, because he hadn’t told Leanne (Jane Danson) where he got the cash from, he was forced to go along with Damon’s plan.
Things reached (well, what we thought was) a conclusion a few weeks ago, when Nick asserted that he wasn’t going to let Damon ruin his family’s life anymore and called the police on him.
Next week though, he returns.
After Adam tells Peter (Chris Gascoyne) and Steve (Simon Gregson) that he’s worried about the business, he’s caught by Dee-Dee (Channique Sterling-Brown) while having a chat with Damon.
Once Dee-Dee puts Damon in his place, he leaves, but Adam then reveals his plan – if Damon becomes a client, it will help get the business back on track because he’s loaded.
Dee-Dee is appalled, but will they go through with it?
