A woman who has had more than 100 plastic surgeries and been dubbed the "human Barbie" has claimed that she isn’t addicted to getting her body modified.

Jessica Alves is well-known as a TV personality worldwide, having shot to fame when she became known as the "Human Ken Doll" for her enhanced looks.

She has since transitioned into a woman, revealing that she “feels great” after her gender reassignment operation, and is even looking for love.

Now, speaking to Mark Dolan on GB News, Jessica has emphasised that her plastic surgery was always intended to help her transition, rather than being a way of enhancing her profile.

“I’m not addicted to plastic surgery, I think that to some people I’m mistaken as a plastic surgery addict, but I’m not,” she said.

“I’m a biological male, I was born a man, in order to be this woman that I am – curvaceous – I had to go through a lot of surgeries.

“I’m tired of having surgeries, of course, I don’t enjoy going for surgeries and having surgeries, it’s not fun, it’s not beautiful, it is painful, it’s time consuming, it’s expensive.”

Before Jessica began the lengthy process of transitioning into a woman, she had earned the label of the "Human Ken Doll" for her androgynous – and heavily modified – looks.

But, the TV personality stressed that she was “never comfortable” with this cartoonish comparison, and emphasised that she didn’t use her surgeries to look younger.

“It was never my aim, it was not the plan, but because I had so many surgeries, I ended up looking like a doll, and now people call me ‘Barbie doll’,” she explained.

“I’m not having any plastic surgeries or aesthetic procedures to look like Barbie, in fact I’m too old for that, I’m 39 years old.

“I’m not also having surgeries to look younger because plastic surgeries don’t make you look younger.”

After recently announcing that her surgery quest is complete, Jessica told the show’s host that she is “happier than ever” and emphasised that she doesn’t enjoy looking back on old photos of herself.

“I just did everything I could possibly do to be a woman, I even managed to change my birth certificate,” she stressed.

“I don’t like to see images of my former self, I don’t like to see videos of what I looked like before.

“In a way I’m a very blessed person, because I lived a great life and now I’m living a better life.”
