DON’T be surprised if you see Jorgie Porter baring her bump.

Because the ecstatic Hollyoaks actress has taken inspiration for her pregnancy wardrobe from proud-to-bare pop star Rihanna.

Jorgie, 34, said with a laugh: “I love what Rihanna did — the bump was just out. In the past it was seen as a bit tacky but now it’s all about embracing the bump.”

It is no surprise Jorgie is proud to show off her pregnancy body after she tragically miscarried quadruplets at 14 weeks nine months ago.

Now that she is in the second trimester with her first child, Jorgie and fiance Ollie Piotrowski are daring to feel excited.

Jorgie told The Sun: “We’ve not found out what we’re having. We are waiting.

"I go day by day with every-thing and don’t look that far ahead.

“I think you can take on what other people do and what other people think but it’s the journey of yourself and what you deal with.

“I feel great. The trials and tribulations of pregnancy are insane but I’m feeling really good. I’ve been getting the flutters in my belly.

“I think as it comes. Every mother deals with it, and they do it.”

HUGE TV STUNT

Jorgie already has some practice in parenting, as step-mum to Ollie’s seven-year-old son from a previous relationship.

The couple have been together since 2020 and got engaged in December 2021.

But Ollie, 32, a property developer, has already had to make sacrifices.

Jorgie said: “One downside is that I’ve gone off Ollie’s aftershave.

It just smells disgusting. It’s so annoying because I bought it for him and it’s so expensive. He can’t put it on it any more.

“I can only put up with his own smell, and luckily I find his own smell really attractive.

“Another thing I can’t stand at the moment is chicken caesar salad.

"When it arrives at a table I’m like, ‘Eeeew!’. But I’m pretty much eating every-thing else.”

She shared the happy news about her pregnancy in June via a sweet online video that showed off her ultrasound scan image.

She captioned the reel: “Hopeful beginnings . . . ”

But the devastated actress revealed that she had lost her quads with a “missed miscarriage”.

The ordeal was so traumatic she elected to have surgery to remove the embryos, rather than have to give birth naturally.

Afterwards, she told Loose Women: “It was quite shocking because I thought it was going to be four. I was ready for a girl gang.

"My body was still being pregnant and still doing the symptoms of pregnancy.

“It then did carry on for a while. The really heartbreaking time was how they were going to go. I didn’t want to witness things.”

In February, Jorgie shared that the couple were trying to for children again.

She said at the time: “I’m mindful about not getting too stressed. I keep thinking, ‘I’ve been pregnant before, so it’s possible I’ll fall pregnant again’.”

Now Jorgie and Ollie are looking to the future. She added: “We’ve not got any names yet. It’s hard, because you want something that nobody has.

"I’ve suggested a few and Ollie’s been a bit like, ‘No, absolutely not’.

“I’ve been looking at extreme names, because you do want something different. It’s got to be a word that you’re going to be saying for ever.

"I think I named my dogs quite well, Stella and Lady. But this is a lot harder.”

With the baby due at Christmas, Jorgie has plenty of time to choose.
Until then she will need to juggle her pregnancy with her work on Hollyoaks — and she has no intention to slack off.

Her character, Theresa McQueen, is involved in a huge autumn stunt on the Channel 4 soap and Jorgie is busy filming the scenes now.

At a Hollyoaks event about the episodes, she said: “One minute I had a stunt double but now I’m doing my own stunts.

"We’re using big bags, cushions and massive T-shirts to hide my bump, which sometimes I think makes it look even bigger.”

Bosses have brought back serial killer Silas Blissett, played by Jeff Rawle, 71 and he will go after the McQueen family.

It all comes to a head at a village carnival that turns into carnage.

Jorgie, who did I’m A Celebrity . . .  Get Me Out Of Here in 2015, said: “Silas is going to torment us all. He hates us McQueens. He just outsmarts us, it’s all in the detail for him.

“All I can say is no one is safe. We’ve only just started filming and the scripts are brilliant. I feel like you can’t imagine the greatness of it until you see the set.”

The return of a serial killer sounds like the perfect opportunity to write an expectant mother out of a soap.

So does Jorgie think this could be curtains for fiery Theresa?

She said: “I have no idea what my exit storyline is going to be yet. I’m going to be here for a while — as long as Silas doesn’t kill me.

“I’ve already left a couple of times before. The first time I had a big leaving party but the last time they were like, ‘You’ll be back so we’re not doing this again. We’ll just say goodbye’.

“But I’m going to have a baby shower. I want all the showers. I’ve not even celebrated my engagement properly so I definitely want a bridal shower too.”

Hollyoaks will release its autumn trailer which includes the huge stunt on August 28. Watch the soap on weekdays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with E4’s first look at 7pm.
