I’m A Celeb: Grace Dent infuriates fans in bushtucker trial
I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here fans have rounded on food critic Grace Dent, branding her lazy after last night’s group trial.
The camp was split into two teams of five following the arrival of latecomers Frankie Dettori and Tony Bellew.
They were then pitted against each other in the Breakfast of Dreams challenge that saw them searching for hidden keys among all manner of nasties to unlock stars.
Whichever side found their keys first and managed to get the stars was was declared the winner and Grace’s team lost.
Fans of the show were not impressed with her performance and felt she could have put in more effort especially when she asked hosts Ant and Dec what she needed to do mid-challenge.

Taking to X formerly known as Twitter they made their feelings known. @ChloeReadsBooks wrote: “Catching up on last night’s I’m A Celeb… Grace was pathetic in the trial, bless her heart #ImACeleb.” (sic)
@Margjacquieline isn’t a fan of the Masterchef star either, commenting: “Something about Grace is so jarring, ‘I lost my keys in all the stuff’ ok then find them ya lazy sausage what do you want a locksmith.”
@kelly_xm_ queried: “Why is Grace stuck in slo-mo? lazy cow #ImACeleb,” (sic) @KitKat163513545 chimed in: “Grace really frustrated me in that trial #ImACeleb.”
Meanwhile, @Teaziii wrote: “#iamaceleb #ImaCeleb Nella and Jamie-Lynn did brilliantly in the challenge. Why’s Grace the statue even on the show?” Elsewhere @mrscarter22 said: “That Grace Dent is the most boring. Extremely dull #ImACeleb.” (sic) #ImACelebrity

As a result of her poor performance, she found herself voted to do tonight’s trial called Touchdown of Terror. On Friday’s instalment of the show, ITV viewers will see Grace and Nigel Farage. go head-to-head see Nella Rose and Sam Thompson.
In a preview of what’s to come in Touchdown of Terror, it looks as though the challenge is all about teamwork.
As one star wears a helmet filled with critters, they have to put their hand into a box of creepy crawlies while trying to release American footballs.
Once they get the ball out, they need to throw it to their teammate who then needs to run to the touchdown finish line.
Although in true I’m A Celeb style, the campmate waiting for the ball is wearing trousers filled with biting green ants.
I’m A Celebrity is on ITV nightly at 9pm except Saturday when it begins at 9.30pm.
