I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! believe they know who will win the latest series after watching the latest Bushtucker trial.

Fans tuned in to watch Sam Thompson take on a James Bond themed challenge on Thursday’s episode (December 7) where he was seen swimming with alligators and battling laser beams for the treacherous solo task. After assuming a “spy-themed” identity of Agent Murphy for the task – which hosts Ant and Dec gladly played along with – he made his way to the end with all six stars and gushed that the task was “the coolest thing ever”.

Totally moved by his amazing attitude and and victory, fans now believe he had secured his position as King of the jungle. “aww i’m so happy for sam doing so well in the trial, he deserves to win,” said one fan on X.

“Sam has to win after that trial!” echoed a second. “Sam sooooo deserves to win this whole thing bless him!*!” penned a third.

Another was convinced producers know he'll win and have decided to give him the "best edit" during episodes. They added: “Sam is definitely going to win, the rest might as well go home. The producers knowing Sam's performance in this trial will guarantee him the win after giving him the best edit all season #ImACeleb.”

In hilarious scenes, Sam forgot to collect the stars in the trial – meaning Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly had to remind him to collect them. Then the former Made In Chelsea star had to do a U-turn and go back to ensure he put the star in his bag – securing a meal for camp.

Thompson, Tony Bellew, Nigel Farage, Danielle Harold, Josie Gibson and Marvin Humes are the six celebrities who remain in camp and with a chance of winning the title of king or queen. Every night a star is being voted out ahead of Sunday's hotly-anticipated final which airs on ITV1 at 9pm.
