My Life with the Walter Boys made its Netflix debut this week, bringing author Ali Novak’s book of the same name to life for the small screen.
The teenage drama follows Jackie Howard (Nikki Rodriguez), a youngster who moves from New York to Colorado after the tragic death of her parents.
It is when she moves in with the Walter family that she meets two potential love interests in brothers Cole (Noah LaLonde) and Alex (Ashby Gentry).
But with the siblings so different and Jackie still coming to terms with the loss of her mum and dad, what way will the teenager turn?

How old is My Life with the Walter Boys actor Ashby Gentry?
My Life with the Walter Boys stars actor Ashby Gentry as Alex Walter in the 10-episode series.
While the young central characters are all supposed to be teenagers, they are all a little older than their fictional counterparts.
Actor Gentry was born on July 30, 2001, making the star 22 years old in real life.
He doesn’t regularly share on social media and didn’t mention it was his birthday earlier this year but received a number of happy birthday messages on a post from the day.

Meanwhile, his co-star Nikki Rodriguez, who is behind Jackie, is thought to be 20 and Cole star Noah LaLonde is 25 years old.
Gentry is relatively new to the entertainment industry with just a small handful of credits to his name.
Before the Netflix series, he had been in a short, a music video and an episode of Are You Afraid of the Dark?
According to his IMDb profile, he is also working on a project called Mooch which is currently in post-production.

Gentry’s character Alex is one of the eldest boys in the family and has a love for the nerdier things in life like video games and sci-fi movies.
He may seem a little awkward at times but he is also a passionate rodeo competitor and quickly becomes friends with Jackie when she moves in.
There is clear romantic tension between the pair from almost the very beginning as well, adding another layer to the dynamic – but who will Jackie end up with?
