Im A Celebs Owen admits watching BGT auditions helps him cry on Hollyoaks set

Hollyoaks star Owen Warner left his campmates stunned when he revealed he watches auditions from the X Factor and Britain's Got Talent to help him cry on cue.

While appearing on the latest episode of ITV's I'm A Celebrity…Get Me Out Here! on Friday (November 35), Jill Scott, Seann Walsh and Owen shared their talents.

But Jill and Seann were left pleasantly surprised when Owen revealed how he is able to shed a tear.

The 23-year-old actor said: "When I first got on set, I’d watch X Factor or Britain’s Got Talent auditions, the really good ones, where they get a golden buzzer or there’s an emotional story to it…"

Seann questioned: "You’d watch that to cry?"

"Yeah," Owen replied confidently.

Seann laughed: "I can’t believe that. That’s hilarious! Can you teach us to cry?"

Jill admitted: "I don’t cry in real life, but come on, let’s try."

Owen then instructed the pair and said: "Pick a point, don’t blink… focus your eyes… really focus on your breathing. Think about how your breathing goes when you cry."

Surprised, Seann said to Jill: "You look like you’re crying!"

Jill pretended to act out an emotional scene to which Owen said: "That was very good!"

Lioness football Jill exclaimed: "I’ve actually got a tear!"

But Seann who wasn't taking on the challenge so well, said: "It’s just making me want to go to sleep."

Owen and Jill also asked Seann to do his impression of Michael McIntyre – with Seann being happy to teach them how to do it.

While in the Bush Telegraph Owen confessed: "Didn’t go very well at all. I sounded nothing like him and I know Jill sounded nothing like him. I’ll stick to the acting and Jill will stick to the football, leave the impressions to Seann."

He added: "I can do David Attenborough. ‘Here we have Seann, sitting on a rock, the sunlight hitting his face elegantly… watch how he swills the water around his mouth and then licks his lips…'"

Owen has left quite the impression on his campmates throughout this year's series and fans also think he may stand a good chance of winning the show.

Jumping onto Twitter, many fans appear to be in full support of him, with one viewer writing: "Everyone please keep voting owen. we need him to win it this year!!"

Meanwhile another said: "I want Owen to win so bad!"
