A SUPERFAN of The Chase has revealed a tactic contestants use on the show that always goes wrong.
The ITV quiz show see's four hopefuls battling it out in a bid to win big and bag some cash.
Bradley Walsh, 63, is always on hand to guide the players through the rounds as they face tough competition from various different 'chasers'.
But there's one strategy that many players use that always ends up backfiring according to one superfan.
The fan posted a TikTok video explaining the method which sees contestants take the minus offer – and why it doesn't work.
He began the video: "You have to stop taking the minus offer on The Chase. "

He continued: "Yes you came here with nothing but to steal money from your team mates after they've worked so hard to get through the round just because you are unintelligent and stupid – why should they be punished?"
The gameshow fan then went on to say that even though it's "really embarrassing" being stupid – it's far better to get through the round and take a guess.
"Isn't better to get through difficult questions and guesses – rather than 'what's the capital of France ?' to go through with -£3000.
Previously contestants have chosen to take the minus offer and it's ended up working out in their favour.

In September fans were left fuming after a contestant who took the minus offer went on to win thousands.
Despite earning a respectable £4,000 in her cash builder round, the pensioner was given the option to choose a minus offer of £1,000 – and she did just that.
Those watching at home were also left peeved as June would make it back to her seat and had the chance to win £12,000 – something she had not contributed to.
The Chase airs weekdays from 5pm on ITV.
